Videos are a great way to connect with your audience and convert them to customers. My goal in SEO is to get anyone who’s interested in services like yours to your website. There are 2 ways I make this happen. First, produce content that someone will be interested in, and second, get links to your content from other websites. Here I’ll be talking about video production as content for your website. (To learn more about link building please see this SEO overview article and other topics in my Articles section.)
e.g. recording artist
If you’re a musician, you’re going to produce videos so others get to know you and see what you do. Entertainment venues will be interested them. They’re an introduction to the artist and what they do, and today they’re going nowhere without good video production. And this equally applies to you, video production is an opportunity to show what you have to offer.
e.g. real customer video production
Here’s a video I did recently that serves as an introduction for this professional’s services. And although no one may want the featured service, it still serves as an introduction to him and his brand. Here is the 3 minutes and 45 seconds introduction video, meet Glenn. You be the judge, did this video introduce Glenn well?
All Professionals can do this
There’s nothing magical about producing promotional videos. However, if you’re really good at what you do, this presents a multi-media opportunity to reach others. This simply allows others to see and appreciate what makes you you.
On-Location Video Production only
But you’ll need a local video production company, so that’s where I come in. I’ll shoot and produce your video since I do exclusively on-location shooting, no filming studio, where you feel most comfortable. I do Power Point intros, can include a slide presentation when called for, and edit and produce the final results.
It’s good to include photos in your content either as illustrations, or of persons with whom the client would be working. And a video can make your case in less time, think economy, than photos and many pages of written text. And if you’ve ever said, “There is one message I want people to understand”, then this might just be the answer you’re looking for.
Videos serve as content for your website, and interesting content draws in the search engines and increases visitors to your site. Good content is always the brass ring for which we strive, and it’s a bonus when search engines like your content and serve your page(s) regularly. Regular content creation is today’s mantra for better search engine results, and occasional videos add appeal all the way around.
